Among them, The Web3 & AI Consensus Summit, co-hosted by CDDJAP (Cyberport × Draper Dragon Joint Accelerator), Draper Dragon, Draper University, Starlabs Consulting, etc., will take place on February 12, 2026 at Cyberport, Hong Kong.

Under the theme “Connecting Hong Kong and Silicon Valley: When East Meets West in Web3 Innovation,” the Summit aims to bridge innovation networks between the Asia-Pacific region and Silicon Valley, enabling deeper coordination across capital, technology, and real-world use cases. The program is structured around three core areas—crypto finance, AI applications, and the evolution of Web3—delivering practitioner-led insights through keynote addresses and high-impact roundtable dialogues.
The Summit will feature a video address by legendary Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper. Additional keynote speakers include Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman of HashKey Group; Sy Noel Chan, Head of Business Development, APAC at ConsenSys; Chris Joannou, Vice President of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems at Draper University; and Yu Jianing, President of Uweb. Together, they will explore industry trends, infrastructure development, and global expansion strategies in a rapidly shifting digital economy.
Is Web3 Ready? Lessons from Web2 and the Road Ahead
One of the Summit’s central discussions, titled “Is Web3 Ready? What’s Missing from the Web2 Playbook,” will focus on the core question of whether Web3 has reached a stage of maturity and what it still lacks compared to the proven frameworks of Web2. The session will examine Web3’s current state, the relevance of Web2’s successful operating models, and the implications for the next phase of industry growth.
